Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped capers
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped dill pickles, chopped capers, chopped onion, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Stir all ingredients together until well combined. This makes a great homemade tartar sauce.
  3. Season your easy tartar sauce with salt and pepper to your preference.
  4. For the best tartar sauce, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. This is a quick tartar sauce that can be made ahead.
