- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil (vegetable or avocado oil)
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar or honey
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 2 cups cooked white or jasmine rice
- Sliced green onions
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic in a small bowl until smooth.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Crack in eggs and cook until whites are set and yolks are slightly runny, or to desired doneness.
- Lower heat and spoon sauce over the eggs. Simmer gently for 30–60 seconds until warmed and glossy.
- Spoon rice into bowls, top with eggs and extra sauce. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
