- 3 Honeycrisp apples, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface into a 12×12-inch square.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- Arrange the apple slices in overlapping rows, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apples.
- Starting from one side, tightly roll up the puff pastry and apples to form a spiral.
- Slice the rolled puff pastry into 12 equal pieces and place each piece into a muffin cup.
- Brush the tops of the tarts with the melted butter.
