Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and capers and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the White Wine Lemon Caper Sauce immediately over cooked chicken, fish, or pasta.
