- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the maple syrup and heavy cream, and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Transfer the sausage mixture to a 9×13 baking dish and spread it out evenly.
