  • ½ tsp salt
  • Optional: ½ cup (90 g) sprinkles for a festive touch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients on low speed to avoid flour spills.
  6. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Line baking sheets with parchment paper while the dough chills.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
  9. Place dough balls on baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
