- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
