Description

This Salt and Pepper Chicken is a quick and easy dinner that’s packed with flavor. Tender, juicy chicken is coated in a simple seasoning blend and seared to perfection for a delicious, versatile main dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken cubes dry with paper towels and season them evenly with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken to the hot pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Add the garlic and oregano to the pan and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  7. Serve the Salt and Pepper Chicken immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
