- 1 box (15.25 oz / 432 g) chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup (240 g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
- 1 cup (175 g) chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (120 g) Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- Blend ingredients on medium speed for about two minutes until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix peanut butter with powdered sugar until thick.
- Spoon dollops of the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped Reese’s Cups over the filling.
- Pour the remaining chocolate batter over the filling and toppings.
- Smooth the top with a spatula and place the pan in the oven.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
