Instructions
- Combine warm milk and sugar in a bowl, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Sprinkle instant yeast on top and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour and salt, then add to the yeast mixture with melted butter and eggs.
- Mix until a shaggy dough forms, then turn it out onto a floured surface.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Chop peaches into small pieces for even flavor distribution.
- Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a ¼ inch thick rectangle.
- Spread the cream cheese filling on the dough, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle diced peaches and a brown sugar-cinnamon mixture over the filling.
- Roll the dough tightly from one edge and slice into 1½ inch pieces.
