- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract, orange zest, and ground cardamom.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle, approximately 12×8 inches.
- Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a spiral, forming a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick pieces and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and the center is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
