- 1/4 cup (60 ml) ketchup

- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups (450 g) mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter or a vegan alternative
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or olive oil.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, and milk.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper, folding gently until just combined.
- Spoon the meat blend into each muffin cup, filling them three-quarters full.
- Add a small dollop of ketchup on top of each muffin.
- Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven and cool slightly in the tin.
- In a medium bowl, combine mashed potatoes, softened butter, and a splash of milk.
- Whip until light, creamy, and free of lumps; season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mashed potato frosting to a piping bag and pipe onto each muffin.
