Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Combine crushed digestive biscuits with melted unsalted butter in a mixing bowl.
- Ensure the mixture resembles wet sand and holds together when pressed.
- Line an 8×8 inch baking tin with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Press the biscuit mixture firmly into the base of the tin evenly.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until golden and fragrant, then cool completely.
- In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk and golden syrup over medium heat.
- Stir continuously for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
- Pour the caramel over the cooled biscuit base and spread evenly with a spatula.
