  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce (sugar-free)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional toppings: sliced olives, mushrooms, bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground chicken or turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
