Jalapeño Peanut Brittle is a delightful sweet and spicy treat that’s quick and easy to make at home. This crunchy, caramelized peanut brittle is infused with the heat of fresh jalapeño peppers for a uniquely addictive flavor.

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups roasted, salted peanuts
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh jalapeño peppers (seeds and membranes removed for less heat, if desired)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 300°F on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in the peanuts and chopped jalapeño peppers. Immediately pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out as thin as possible.
- Allow the brittle to cool completely, about 30 minutes. Once hardened, break it into pieces and enjoy!
