Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups high-quality flour
  • 1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) yeast
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients (flour, yeast, salt, herbs) in a bowl.
  2. Gradually add water and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size (about 1-1.5 hours).
  5. Punch the dough down gently.
  6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
