Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (about 450 grams)
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup milk (about 240 ml)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart as it cooks, allowing it to brown evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  5. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Begin layering half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
