- 1 pound ground beef (about 450 grams)
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup milk (about 240 ml)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart as it cooks, allowing it to brown evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Begin layering half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
