Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can (6 ounces) French-fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium-high heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Gently stir in the drained green beans.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and top evenly with the French-fried onions.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  9. Let stand for a few minutes before serving this delicious beef green bean casserole.

Notes

  • For a cheesy beef green bean casserole, you can add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese along with the French-fried onions.
