Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then stir in the Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup honey, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold in the dry ingredients from the first step, mixing just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, drizzle the top of the cake with additional honey and serve.
