Garlic Butter Steak Bites – Best Easy Steak Recipe

Description

Craving a restaurant-quality steak dinner at home? These Garlic Butter Steak Bites are the perfect balance of juicy, tender steak with rich, garlicky butter flavor. Whether you’re looking for a quick weeknight meal or a savory appetizer, this recipe is a must-try!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak:

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Step1: Prepare the Steak

  • Cut the sirloin steak into bite-sized cubes.
  • Pat them dry with a paper towel (this helps get a good sear).
  • Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

Step2: Heat the Skillet

  • Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is hot and shimmering, add the steak cubes in a single layer.

Step3: Sear the Steak

  • Let the steak cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring to get a nice crust.
  • Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step4: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low.
  • Add butter and let it melt.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step5: Combine & Serve

  • Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!

Notes

  • Choose the right cut: Sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon work best.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan: Cook in batches if needed.
  • Use high heat: This helps achieve a perfect sear.
