- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Optional Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach (optional, for a nutritious twist)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for a cheesy kick)
Instructions
Step1: Season the Chicken
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Step2: Sear the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place chicken in the skillet and sear for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step3: Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in Italian seasoning.
Step4: Combine Chicken with Sauce
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Step5: Garnish and Serve
- Sprinkle fresh parsley and optional Parmesan cheese before serving.
- Serve hot for a perfect meal.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic: Freshly minced garlic brings the best flavor.
- Avoid overcooking: Chicken breast can dry out quickly, so watch the cooking time closely.
- Deglaze the pan: For extra flavor, add a splash of chicken broth or white wine after searing the chicken.
