Description

A rich and decadent creamy lobster pasta dish, perfect for a special occasion or a luxurious weeknight meal. This easy creamy lobster pasta recipe features tender lobster meat tossed with perfectly cooked pasta in a luscious garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. If using, add white wine and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
  7. Add the cooked and chopped lobster meat to the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the drained linguine to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
  9. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.
  10. Serve the creamy lobster pasta immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
