- 2 lbs lump crab meat, picked over for shells
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, gently combine the lump crab meat with mayonnaise, chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Be careful not to break up the crab lumps too much. This is your crab imperial mixture.
- Transfer the crab imperial mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish or individual ramekins.
- In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Sprinkle the cheese and breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the crab imperial.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the crab imperial is heated through.
- Serve your delicious crab imperial hot.
