Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
- Mix the cornbread muffin base ingredients: cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter, then combine with dry ingredients. Fold in shredded cheese if using.
