Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Whisk flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and honey until smooth.
  4. Make a well in dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture. Stir gently.
  5. Stir in melted butter until just combined.
  6. Divide batter into muffin cups and bake for 20–22 minutes.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before serving.
