Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups (300 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (90 g) mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and a medium-sized saucepan.
  2. Over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips in the saucepan.
  3. Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool slightly to avoid melting the cookie dough.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  6. Mix in the vanilla extract and gradually add all-purpose flour until just combined.
  7. Fold in mini chocolate chips to create the cookie dough.
  8. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
  9. Pour half of the melted fudge into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  10. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the fudge layer to create mounds.
  11. Pour the remaining fudge over the cookie dough, spreading gently with a spatula.
  12. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
