Ingredients

  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the Earl Grey tea bags and steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
  3. Add the fresh cherries to the hot tea and let simmer for 2-3 minutes, until the cherries have softened slightly.
  4. Stir in the milk and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
  5. Remove from heat and pour the Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea into a serving glass.
  6. Garnish with a fresh cherry and a sprig of Earl Grey tea leaves, if desired.
