  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients in a cozy workspace.
  2. Cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg, vanilla, and almond extracts until well blended.
  4. Sift all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients gently.
  6. Ensure the dough is soft and pliable, holding its shape.
  7. Pit and chop fresh cherries or thaw and drain frozen cherries.
  8. Gently fold the cherries into the dough without overmixing.
