Description

A creamy and cheesy garlic butter linguine pasta combined with savory ground beef, perfect for quick and satisfying meals.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) linguine pasta
  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (90 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup (120 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Season the beef with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Add cooked linguine to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed for desired consistency.
  7. Optional: Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.

  • You can thicken the sauce by simmering it longer or adding more cheese.
  • Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
