  • 3 large eggs

  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (240 ml) caramel sauce
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whipped topping
  • ¼ cup (30 g) powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine yellow cake mix, eggs, water, and melted butter.
  3. Blend the ingredients on medium speed for about two minutes until smooth.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the cake in the pan for about 15 minutes.
  8. Poke holes evenly across the cake surface with a wooden spoon handle.
  9. In a bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk and half of the caramel sauce until smooth.
  10. Pour the mixture over the warm cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  11. Spread whipped topping evenly over the cake.
  12. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
