- 4 cups powdered sugar

- 1–4 drops food coloring
Instructions
- Combine powdered sugar and softened butter in a mixing bowl.
- Beat the mixture until creamy and smooth.
- Gradually add peppermint extract.
- Incorporate a drop or two of green food coloring if desired.
- Mix until the dough-like consistency is achieved; add milk if too dry.
- Roll small portions into bite-sized balls, about the size of a marble.
- Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet with space in between.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll each mint in granulated sugar until fully coated.
- Return coated mints to the baking sheet.
- Allow mints to set at room temperature for at least one hour.
