Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups (250g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups (220g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (225g) fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons (15g) all-purpose flour (for coating blueberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and dust with flour or line with parchment paper.
  2. Beat butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy. Add sugar and mix until well combined.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Toss blueberries with flour, then gently fold into batter.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 60–70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
