Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes (or ribeye, filet mignon, or NY strip)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Optional Add-Ons:
- Red pepper flakes for heat
- Parmesan cheese for extra richness
- Fresh thyme or rosemary for herbal notes
Instructions
Step1: Prep the Steak
- Pat the steak bites dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Step2: Sear the Steak
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until a deep golden-brown crust forms.
Step3: Add the Garlic Butter
- Reduce heat to medium-low, then add 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic.
- Stir for 30 seconds, allowing the garlic to become fragrant.
Step4: Toss & Serve
- Add the remaining 2 tbsp butter and stir the steak bites to coat.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use the right cut: Sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon work best.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan: Cook in batches for the perfect sear.
- Let the steak rest: After cooking, allow the bites to rest for 5 minutes.
