A quick and easy Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta recipe with a creamy, spicy sauce. This Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta is perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound linguine or your favorite pasta
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons sriracha, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, prepare the Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the shrimp. Pour the Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta sauce over the pasta and shrimp.
- Toss to coat everything evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
- Serve your delicious Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta immediately.
