  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  4. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  5. Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip it in the egg wash, and coat it with the breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  8. While the tenders are cooking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl.
  9. Once the tenders are done, toss them in the buffalo sauce mixture.
  10. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free option, substitute almond flour for all-purpose flour.
  • If you prefer extra crispy chicken, air fry for an additional 5 minutes after flipping.
